What If Your Current Software Becomes Un-Supported?

All Software Has A Lifecycle

Like everything, software becomes old and needs to adapt to the latest technology. ScanToPDF certainly does and customers who have a subscription or a support agreement will always have the very latest software we write

So what is Software End Of Life (EOL)

End Of Life for software basically means that the software has reached the end of its service, at least in terms of active support and development. Once software reaches its end of life, it’s not going to receive any further updates, improvements, or security patches.

Without updates and bug fixes, this software becomes vulnerable to hackers and cybercriminals and if used in a business critical process it can become a point of failure, which can result in loss of business.

What About Other Software

We often have enquiries from customers who use other software and want to switch to ScanToPDF, for example

“Today we use an application, Readsoft, for scanning, and since it is no longer supported, we want to find another software to replace it. The main needs is to be able to scan documents in batches”

We’ll always try and provide solutions that offer the functionality you need, so you can continue your business processes. Just contact us and let us know what you need
