Installation
These instructions provide details for installing the software, and optionally activating the software using a remote key purchased from our website.
Otherwise if a remote key has not been provided or is not suitable for your use case, install the software, request a local key and follow the instructions provided by our licensing team when you receive the local key.
Download the ScanToPDF software setup executable (SSE) using the link provided by our team
After the software is downloaded, run the SSE which is called scantopdfsetup.exe
On the License Agreement window, read the agreement and select the I accept the agreement option and click Next
On the Select Additional Tasks window, choose the Additional shortcuts required
Activating A Remote Key
If you are installing to Evaluate the software, or you already have a license key provided by email when you purchased, tick the Software Activation >> Activate the software option and click Next
Otherwise
If you don’t already have a key then do not tick the Software Activation >> Activate the software option
Instead, just click Next and take the default options to finish the installation. When installation is complete, use this page to request a local key
The Software Activation window will only be displayed if the Activate the software option was selected in the previous step.
If the Software Activation window is displayed, enter the license key provided after purchase, or use the activation details provided by our team into the Badge field and click Next
IMPORTANT
When the license key is pasted into the Badge field, make sure there is not a space at the end of the key, as this will make the key invalid
After the software activation window, just take the default options to finish the installation.
