To update ScanToPDF click Help on the ScanToPDF menu and choose Check for software update (since release 6.5.0.15) or Check for updates (earlier releases) and follow the prompts

Important – 6.5.0.3 was released to fix a bug with product activation using off premise license server. This bug results in the software using additional license slots from the server, or a message that no license slot is available when closing the Module Activation window using the OK button. Update the software to 6.5.0.3 using the Help >> Check for updates menu.
Fix a problem with activation keys that have spaces at the end not being accepted. Spaces are now trimmed from activation keys to prevent this error.
Fix a problem where the serial number display did not have the SPV6- prefix
